Alina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from University of California, San Diego and Master of Social Work degree from New York University. She completed an evidence based project award certification for the New York State Office of Mental Health Deans of Social Work Consortium. Alina is clinically trained to provide a full spectrum of mental health care services and has extensive experience working in the field of psychology and social work since 2004. Her practice interests include mental health care for adults, couples and families. Alina’s goal is to form organic therapeutic relationships with clients through active listening, mindfulness, strength-based and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in order to empower clients to reach their treatment goals and gain coping mechanisms for maintaining fulfilling and enjoyable lives.
